We have posted cars with a 1.4 Gen3 engine with various levels of modifications Stage 1/2 and 3 more than once, many have long known their potential and what kind of return can be obtained from various modifications (those who do not know can familiarize themselves with our old posts in the blog), but today we will tell you about a very interesting Stage 3 that many have been waiting for — namely a "bolt-on" solution: a hybrid turbo that is installed on the car without modifications! Let's start with the backstory =)
More than a year ago, we wrote about the current generation Audi A3 with a 1.4 engine, at Stage 1 the car showed excellent performance in power gain thanks to precise tuning on our dynamometer! You can also check it out in our blog!

Now the most interesting part: a year later, our client, feeling a lack of power, decided to contact us for a new dose of power — we are making the transition from Stage 1 to Stage 3! We have a completely stock car flashed with Stage 1 + DSG software, we install the hybrid turbo and tune it on the stand.

Initially, in stock, the car from the factory has 150 hp and 240 Nm,
At Stage 1 — 192 hp and 350 Nm
At Stage 3 — 221 hp and 320 Nm on 100 octane gasoline
The features of this hybrid include a reinforced shaft, which allows forgetting about potential problems with the turbo. At the initial stage, the car received 1.25 bar of boost and is currently being successfully tested in all modes with a characteristic of 220 hp and 320 Nm.

It should be noted that the car is completely standard, including the stock catalyst and cooling system, and this is not yet the final result, which has already exceeded all our expectations at an early stage of tuning! With the presence of a complete exhaust system and modifications to the stock cooling system, we will achieve an even more significant power increase! Stay tuned for updates)

Many have noticed that the peak torque values have decreased, but the power has increased — the car has gained maximum smoothness from low revs and has linear proportional acceleration to power.
