Audi A6 (C7) 1.8 TSI: large-scale upgrade to 380 hp and 510 N·m

A comprehensive work has been carried out to boost the Audi A6 (C7) with a 1.8 TSI engine (190 hp). Initially, the car was front-wheel drive, but in 2024 a large-scale modernization was conducted — a DL501 transmission was installed with the implementation of all-wheel drive. On this basis, we implemented a phased tuning using Etuners software.

Stage 1 2024: Stage 3 (basic boosting) with Etuners software * installation of IS20 turbo; * Stage 3 Etuners software for the engine and transmission; * result: 330 hp and 480 N·m.

Stage 2 2026: upgrade of components at the owner's request * replacement of the turbo with IS20 Hybrid — improved response and power reserve; * installation of Golf 7.5 R (USA) injectors — increased injection accuracy; * installation of an exclusive solution for these engines: fuel pump 2.0 with a special insert-plunger — ensures increased pressure and performance of the fuel system; * installation of a 2.0 vacuum pump, fully compatible with the new fuel pump — guarantees stable operation of the entire system under increased loads.

Final tuning with Etuners software for 100-octane gasoline * update of Etuners engine software for the new configuration and use of 100-octane gasoline — allows to unlock the maximum potential of the boosted engine; * optimization of boost and injection maps considering the increased performance of the fuel equipment and characteristics of high-octane fuel.

Final result:

* power: 380 hp; * torque: 510 N·m over a wide range of RPMs; * preservation of early turbo spool; * smooth pull to the cutoff without dips.

The work was carried out by the Etuners team from Voronezh with a trip to Lipetsk with full support from Etuners Moscow.
