Friends, the company Etuners has been developing software for a long time. The accumulated experience allows us to tune cars with the most diverse configurations, not limited to just factory solutions from older brothers.
Today I will show you several interesting projects based on 2.0TSI/TFSI Gen3 engines (224-249hp).
Let's start with the Audi Q5, which comes from the factory with a 2.0TFSI engine of the 3rd generation, producing 224hp 350Nm with the factory control program. It also has the original turbocharger IHI IS20.
Since the engine is mounted longitudinally, there are no ready-made factory stage 3 solutions for it.
For the car, we prepared a turbo from the VW Golf 7R, called IS38
We also modified it for installation with a longitudinal engine layout:
A full exhaust system was also made:
and a water-methanol injection kit was installed.
Next, an equally interesting process, tuning:
The car was tuned using road tests, as well as a dyno:
Results:
The measurement on the dyno showed excellent results of 431hp and 556Nm, with torque of 550+ available in a very wide range from 2500rpm and almost up to 6000rpm, providing excellent pull at any RPM.
Dynamic measurements:
The Audi Q5 is equipped with a regular classic automatic transmission from ZF with 8 speeds, the launch control function is absent. The curb weight is 1850kg, and it also has quattro all-wheel drive!
0-100km/h = 4.3 sec (6.9 sec factory figures).
100-200km/h = 12.4 sec (30.5 sec factory figures).
