Hello everyone! Today we will tell you about a project built by our colleagues from sunny Greece!
Mini Cooper S R56 JCW 1.6T MY2012 (N18)

The Mini JCW produced from 2012 until its update in 2014 on the F56 JCW body was equipped with a 1600 cc engine N18. Compared to the previous N14, the most important improvements it brought to the BMW / Peugeot group were:
- changed compression ratio of the engine
- minor engine flaws eliminated to increase its lifespan
- reinforced pistons from the factory compared to N14

In this case, we were dealing with a Franco-German engine, and they require a special approach in tuning.
BMW named this engine N18, while Peugeot-Citroen called it EP6-CDTX / EP6-FDTX. In BMW, it produced 211 hp, while the French went further, installing a more powerful turbocharger; for example, on the Peugeot RCZ-R, the maximum output reaches 270 horsepower.
As a result, the engine in the Mini is very strong and reliable.
This car is equipped with:
— CTS Turbo cold air intake kit
— Completely modified exhaust
— High-performance intercooler from Wagner Tuning
— We performed a Stage 2 tune for use with 98 octane gasoline
After reprogramming, the power increased to 283 horsepower.

The power on the graph is indicated at the wheels. The power of the cars that is stated in the vehicle documents is always at the flywheel.
