Hello everyone!
Today we will talk about the tuning of the Skoda Octavia A7 vRs with a 2.0TSI engine and DSG DQ250 transmission. The car has been running for a long time and pleased the owner with our company's Stage 2 tuning, showing good results considering the stock is20 turbo, which is often used for Stage 3 on 1.8tsi Gen3 and 2.0tsi Gen3 engines — Miller cycle.
Our client approached us with a question about choosing a turbo for Stage 3 upgrades, and it was decided to install a "bolt-on" turbocharger "Garrett POWERMAX™ GT2260S Turbo kit Stage 1 for VAG MQB" to achieve the desired power. So let's check this on a live example!
So, what modifications were made to the car:
— A more efficient intercooler BlackRock was installed
— Downpipe + Full exhaust system at 76mm
— Fuel pump from Audi 2.5tsi DAZA engine (all other fuel system stock)
— Racingline r600 intake
— Garrett POWERMAX GT2260S Stage 1 (can be purchased at @tuner.ru)
— Boost pipes
Now, after the meticulous installation of all tuning parts at the ws.m.t service and tuning by Etuners specialists, we get:
Etuners Custom St3 100ron ECU remap
Etuners Custom DSG remap
❌220hp -> 📈450hp (+230)
❌350Nm -> 📈538Nm (+188)
The result is not final, the car will be further modified, but more on that another time!
