Friends, today we will present several measurements of Octavia Vrs A7 cars flashed with Etuners Performance Software.
All cars are on DQ250 DSG6, two measurements on stock DSG and one measurement with flashed DSG6. Let's figure out the differences.
Measurement Etuners Stage 1 98ron, stock DSG.
316hp 482nm, not bad, let's move on.

Second measurement 296hp 445nm.
The result is quite low. Here I would like to draw attention to cooling. Clogged radiators that cannot handle air cooling lead to a power drop
of 20hp and 35nm. Significant, isn't it? Thanks to the ability to make individual adjustments, we edited the program according to the current state of the car.

Measurement number three.
Similar to other engines Etuners Stage 1 98ron + flashed DSG6 Etuners Stage2, mileage over 100,000 km.
The DSG software, in addition to the main improvements that enhance the interaction of the transmission with the driver, also removes the torque limiters.
The measurement showed 316hp and 512nm, power exactly as in the first measurement, but torque is 30nm higher than in the first measurement.

I will also describe in user-friendly language what the DSG DQ250 flash from Etuners provides, this is a question I often receive from our customers.
When you chip a car, you expect an improvement in dynamics.
And of course, after flashing the engine, you get it. Now let's analyze how the DSG software will improve dynamics and comfort while driving.
Modern DSGs have noticeable delays when shifting under full load at high RPMs.
Being in the car, this is particularly felt, even more so in races, if one car has a flashed transmission and the other does not. After flashing, delays are absent or become minimal. In the results 0-100 km/h, there may be an improvement in dynamics of up to 0.2 seconds, 100-200 km/h up to 0.5 seconds.
Ecology dictates its requirements for settings when driving under low loads.
Here lies an important advantage of the flashed DSG6 transmission with Etuners DSG6 performance software over the stock one. On the stock transmission, shifts occur early, usually between 1600 and 1800 RPM, even under load, when the driver wants a bit more torque, it still shifts early. Thus creating the feeling that the car is driving under strain at low RPMs.
With the Etuners DSG6 Performance Software, the transmission changes its operating algorithm, it more sensitively tracks what the driver wants at a specific moment in time. If you drive calmly, the transmission will allow you to save fuel, if you drive a bit more actively, the transmission will instantly adapt to your rhythm and provide you with RPMs according to how much torque you want to get, and this will happen exactly when you expect it! Moreover, if you love short "bursts" when there is a need to drive very actively. The transmission will also track this and assist you without changing the transmission mode! (D-Drive). In such moments, the Drive mode becomes something between Sport and Drive, the transmission holds RPMs under acceleration and during braking engages a lower gear while also maintaining RPMs to instantly deliver the required torque. As soon as you change your driving rhythm to a calm one, the transmission will also switch to your rhythm!
With a sharp press on the gas, downshifts occur significantly faster than on the stock DSG flash, delays will be minimal to the extent that is technically possible for the transmission.
The improved software also allows for separate settings for cut-offs on each gear and for each mode separately.
In manual mode, the kick-down button is disabled, but automatic shifting at maximum RPMs is not disabled. Very convenient for overtaking or racing. You set the desired gear and
the transmission will not shift anywhere, and upon reaching maximum RPMs, it will upshift and the car will continue to accelerate.
Sport mode has basic improvements according to our developments, on some transmissions it is too aggressive in stock, on others, on the contrary, a bit sluggish. In both cases Etuners optimizes the settings.
Shift speeds for all modes will be significantly faster than in stock.
For non-standard configurations, engines with larger turbos, cars used on track days, on drag strips, Etuners offers individual transmission settings according to the tasks.
