Such different Porsches — a museum in Stuttgart, #2
In the first part, there were ordinary, familiar Porsches… But there were also truly unusual exhibits in the museum, which most people simply do not know.
It is important to remember that most innovations were a revolution for their time. I cannot specify the years for each exhibit, but everything you see here was made a long time ago.
Porsche tractors are not a one-off. I was at the museum on Mainau Island in southern Germany, and there were more than a hundred of these tractors — different, beautiful, and definitely red!The photo is not a mistake — the car really is on the ceiling. Given its aerodynamics and maximum speed, the downforce is enough to drive on the ceiling. Porsche 956Sally! That says it all! I wanted to see her in person for a long time — and here is the result! Just a cutie! One of the very first Porsches :-)Porsche electric motor — electric cars could already be made in 1900...Porsche aviation engineLightweight prototype bodyDue to such a disk structure, its weight was reduced to about 5 kilograms. Standing in the center of each of them, you can hear the sound of the engine of a specific model. The sensations are indescribable)))Rental version of the Boxster in the museum.Sitting behind this steering wheel is very pleasant!)))Shifting gears is like launching rockets on the trigger of a military aircraft))
If I had arrived at least an hour earlier — I could have signed up for a test drive. The prices are more than reasonable, you just need to have an international driver's license.
