Hello everyone!
The 2.0 180hp engine operating on the Miller cycle causes quite a few disputes in the tuning world, there are opinions that it is not suitable for modifications and is generally less efficient than the well-known Gen3 220hp engine. But this is not the case! Let's go through everything in order:
Etuners programmers, thanks to their experience and numerous developments on TSI/TFSI engines in different countries and continents, have prepared a tested solution for modifying these engines, time does not stand still and we are ready to offer Stage 1, 2, and 3 solutions (based on the is20 turbo).
Previously, we already analyzed this engine using the example of the Tiguan 2.0 Stage 2 with a complete exhaust system, you can learn more in the blog.
Today we will talk about a similar Tiguan Stage 2 with the only difference being that the car has only our manufactured downpipe installed, the catback (the part of the exhaust after the downpipe) remained completely stock! The car was tuned on our dynamometer and we are ready to share the results with you:
Stock:
📈180hp
📈320nm

Stage 2:
✅ 277hp
✅ 470nm
We get a dynamic and comfortable car tuned on 98/100 fuel, and the transmission has also been tuned (we detail the advantages in the blog below).
Now the most interesting part — the measurement of 0-100 km/h on the Dragy device in real urban conditions (link below in our Instagram).
If you still have doubts or questions, you can always ask us in the comments on Instagram/direct messages or by phone +7 495 481-33-31
We remind you: there is a 20% discount on a one-time engine and transmission remap💥
Stay tuned!
