Turbocharger ET425 for EA888 Gen3: instant response and high power

Technologies do not stand still, and we believe that tuning should also evolve. Today we present a new generation turbocharger for 1.8–2.0 TSI/TFSI EA888 Gen3 engines - ET425.

When creating the ET425, our task was to combine what was previously considered a compromise:

instant response at low RPM, early spool, high efficiency, and confident performance in the upper range.

ET425 is a modern alternative to IS38 and other hybrid solutions, but with a completely different approach to vehicle behavior.

We paid special attention not only to power but also to how the car feels in real-world operation. The ET425 provides strong torque from low RPM while maintaining efficiency and performance at high RPM.

We would like to highlight boost control separately. The turbo was initially designed with a focus on the most predictable operation of the control system — without “fighting” with PID, spikes, and unstable request/fact.

For tuners, this means:

-quick and clear configuration -minimal calibration time -stable request/fact correspondence -correct operation across the entire range of loads and throttle positions
