🔧 Volkswagen Talagon 2.0TSI: Stage 1 tuning for 95 gasoline

Today we will talk about the software upgrade of the Volkswagen Talagon with a 2.0 TSI engine (DKXA). In the factory configuration, the engine produces 220 hp and 350 Nm of torque. We conducted calibration optimization aimed at increasing power and improving engine characteristics.

What we did:

• Stage 1 tuning for 95 gasoline
• Disabling catalyst preheating on a hot engine
• Improvement of thermostat operation

The results are impressive:

• All modifications were made with consideration for operation on 95 gasoline
• Engine thermal regulation improved
• Disabling catalyst preheating allowed for the elimination of unnecessary fuel consumption while waiting for RPM stabilization.
• Thermostat operation optimized for more stable coolant and engine oil temperatures

⚡️ Result: the car became noticeably more dynamic, the response to the gas pedal improved, and the engine operates more stably in different modes.
