Hello, friends! Yesterday we tuned a Volkswagen Golf GTI of the 6th generation with a 2-liter engine producing 211 hp.

The car has been upgraded with a K04 turbocharger that is installed on the Volkswagen Golf R of the 6th generation, with a calculated power of 350-360 hp.

This car showed a bit more, thanks to quality components and fine-tuning on the dyno, achieving 382 hp and 565 Nm, but the car is used on the track and the owner asked us to limit the specifications to 360 hp and 500 Nm and to level the torque curve so that it is as linear as possible, which we did using our dynamometric stand! In such cases, the stand allows for very precise tuning of the car.

The car is equipped with:
Cold intake
Upgraded intercooler
K04 turbo
Full exhaust
✳️Stock: 211hp 280nm
✅Stage 3: 360hp 500nm

The track tuning features lighter settings for the car: the car responds more softly to the gas, drives more linearly, and usually has additional protection against overheating — in case of high exhaust or coolant temperatures, the power will be reduced to protect the engine.

The graph shows the maximum output of the car in the tuning mode marked with a green line, and the reduced power and torque at the client's request marked with a red line.
